It's Time to Start Thinking about Membership & Recruiting
The Fall is close upon us and along with Fall comes school AND Scout Recruitment. Our recruiting goal for this Fall is 700 new youth. With a little help from all units, we can meet our goals, and make a genuine difference in the lives of our Scouts, new and old.
We have materials and ideas to help you as Adult Leaders with recruiting. All downloads are in PDF Format.

Troop Recruiting Guide
This booklet is designed to help a Troop in recruiting Webelos into the Troop, as well as boys that aren't in the Webelos program. Many Boy Scout Troops have a misconception that when it comes to recruiting new boys into their troop, it is job of the Scoutmaster or some other adult leader. It is thought that the personalities or impression the one individual makes to the potential youth is the key to successful recruiting. There is a major flaw in this type of thinking. The boys should be joining a troop for what the troop does. Feeling comfortable with the adult leadership, although it plays a major role, should be secondary. Download the Guide here.
