Please join us for an evening honoring fellow Scouters and Units. Weds, June 13, 2018.

We will be presenting the District Award of Merit as well as several national and local awards, including a special presentation of the Silver Beaver Award to John Gelinas.

Other awards include the Key 3 Award, Spark Plug Award, Cub Masters Key, Scout Master Key, Den Leader Training Awards, Veterans Awards, Unit Leader Award of Merit, Commissioner Arrowhead Honor Awards, Commissioners Key, and Commissioner Award of Excellence in Unit Service.

Activities - Building Trades Merit Badge Workshop Posted May. 4, 2018

This is a Merit Badge Workshop centered on the building trades. It is designed to expose Scouts to merit badges that may not be easily accessible in their home troop. Scouts use technology available at the Meriden Training Facility and work alongside Union Tradesmen to earn two merit badges. All Merit Badge Counselors are registered and trained. The workshop offers the following merit badges: American Labor, Architecture, Electricity, Engineering, Metalwork, Painting, Plumbing, Surveying, Welding and Woodwork.

Registration opens on April 2, 2018.

The Quinnipiac Dancers, the Council’s Order of the Arrow Native American dancers, can help you with their interpretations of Indian culture through their songs, dance and outfits. We can tailor our performances to your group’s needs.

- Authentic Native American Dance Interpretations.
- Live Native American music.
- Audience participation.
- Handmade outfits depicting modern American Indian pow wow dancers.
- Feathers, bells and beads on flashy colorful outfits.
- All dancers are youth members of our Order of the Arrow Lodge, Owaneco 313.
