| Calling all Boy Scout Troops!! Webeloree 2008 will be held on October 17-19th. Get ready for another great time. If you were there last year, you know what to expect. If you weren't able to join us, be sure to put the Webeloree on your Troop Schedule for this year. Spend the day teaching Webelos Activity Pins to the Webelos of our District. Prepare your Troop for the future by recruiting new troop members (and their parents) in a relaxed, fun, outdoors environment. Let the Boys display their leadership skills. Camp overnight one night or two in the woods of Cedarcrest in Orange. Check out the attached fliers for more information. |

Spend the day earning Webelos Activity Pins while getting to know the Boy Scout Troops in our District. Camp overnight if you wish in the woods of Cedarcrest in Orange (All Webelos who spend the night must be accompanied by an adult per BSA National Regulations) Check out the attached fliers for more information. |

For many years the Sons of the American Revolution has recognized the many common bonds of purpose and principles shared by the S.A.R. and the Boy Scouts of America.
You young men achieving the rank of Eagle Scout have demonstrated your belief in these common pinciples. For this reason, the S.A.R. believes that Eagle Scouts are deserving of special recognition for their accomplishment and dedication.

Wanted: a few good volunteers for the Wepawaug Valley District! The District's function is to support our units and to administer the Scouting program in the five towns that we serve. This important task cannot be achieved without the great volunteers that serve on the district committee and commissioner staff.
No matter what your interest, unit service, activities, training, health & safety, communications, public relations, advancement, fundraising, membership recruitment, or something else, we have a place for you.

The Milford Point (Smith’s Point) Beach Cleanup
Saturday September 6, 2008 - 10 a.m. to noon - Rain or Shine

We will be meeting at The CT Audubon Society Coastal Center at Milford Point at 9:45 a.m.
Carpooling is suggested, as parking is limited.
All cleanup materials will be provided.
