CDeer Lakeourse Location

The 2012 course will be held at Deer Lake Scout Reservation, located in South Central Connecticut, in Killingworth, 25 miles east of New Haven and 6 miles north of Hammonasset State Park. The camp consists of 253 acres of forestland and fields, with a fully equipped waterfront.

 

Pre-course Questions

Prior to the start of the Course, the Course Director will request that each participant answer a short series of questions to help the participant lay the groundwork for the course by developing a solid understanding of personal interests, values, and sense of the future.

Medical Form

Each 2012 Participant is required to have successfully completed a recent medical examination appropriate to a high adventure program. (Wood Badge is considered a high adventure program by BSA.) The exam must be dated on or after August 1, 2011. For exams completed after January 1, 2011, a new medical form is available, and should be used. Parts A, B and C are required for Wood Badge. The medical form must be signed by a health professional and must be turned in prior to the start of the Wood Badge course.
