Providing Opportunities As Big As All Outdoors

Dear Fellow Scouter,

Thank you for taking some time to learn more of our plans for Scouting’s exciting future. Our Providing Opportunities As Big As All Outdoors campaign will provide the catalyst for renewed growth and participation in each of our character and leadership development programs. While we currently reach 25,000 young people each year, these changes will allow us to serve this group and thousands more in our community.

On the other campaign web pages you will see the facilities we will be building. These structures are at the heart of our ability to expand our reach.  Program venues are currently in place. With housing and dining facilities in place the number we can reach on a daily basis and throughout the year are dramatically increased. We will now be able to offer day programs, weekend overnight programs, and week long programs to complement weekly meetings of the Pack or Troop.

I urge you to explore this website to learn more about the Connecticut Yankee Council, the impact it has on lives, and how you can help provide more opportunities for all our young people.

As you have questions or would like more information I encourage you to contact us directly, through email, phone, or letter. We look forward to sharing with you information you will find helpful about our work.
