Spring Into Summer Cub Scout Event
Saturday, June 5, 2021 — Hold the Date!
Hoyt Scout Reservation (Tentative 10 am to 3 pm)
Powahay/Scatacook will be teaming up to host a Cub Scout Fun Day at Hoyt. We are waiting for a lifting of Covid-19 group size guidelines to finalize planning. We do hope to offer:
- A day event with a flexible schedule if sports are active in the spring.
- Packs can arrange camping by reserving a campsite through the council.
- Fun activities including BB Shoots, Advancement opportunities, and other fun programs.
- Powahay will run the District Pinewood Derby Championship at this event if we can find a Pack to host and bring their track.
We are asking each pack to provide a person to serve on the planning committee. This event is being planned just for Cub Scouts and Webelos. Please note the Tri-Camporee May 14-16 is for Scouts BSA (Troops/Crews) — not for Cub Scouts or Webelos.
