Greetings Aquila District and other Participants
Due to the frigid temperatures during the daylight hours and the extremely low overnight temperatures, along with consulting with Ranger Dave and district and council leadership, it has been decided to make the Klondike Derby a Saturday only event.
The Saturday schedule will remain the same with the exception that troops are free to leave after the closing. Check in will be at Pasini where a troop can get their packet with patches, schedules/rotations and a map of the camp and location of program events.
Units will still have campsites to use as a home base to cook and congregate. The campsite assignments, schedule and rotation will be communicated to all registered troops via email.
A Yeti has been spotted at Camp Sequassen and it is up to the Scouts to find him and get him to safety!
They will need all the essential skills of a Scout to withstand the elements and the geography of Camp Sequassen to bring the Yeti back to the Himalayas. Scouts BSA youth and adults event fee is $20 and visiting Arrow of Lights and their adult partner are $15. AOL’s are day participants only.
