BALOO Training
A HANDS-ON OUTDOOR ORIENTATION TO PROVIDE YOU WITH SKILLS NEEDED TO PLAN AND CARRY OUT AN OUTDOOR EXPERIENCE WITH YOUR PACK!
BALOO training is the Cub Scout leader training required for any Cub Scout den or pack outdoor event, including pack camping overnighters and Webelos den overnighters. It’s comprised of two components—an online component and a practical, hands-on component, which we are offering at Deer Lake Scout Reservation NOTE: Location change to CAMP SEQUASSEN! Both components must be completed to qualify as a “TRAINED” Cub Scout outdoor leader. The online component must be completed prior to the practical component. The online training contains introductory and basic information that will be built upon during the practical training.

The BALOO prerequisite V-2 online training MUST be completed prior to attending.
Remember to bring parts A&B of your BSA Health Form.
Please park in the parking lot and walk your gear to the Dining hall.
