Working as patrols, this hands-on course provides adult leaders with the practical outdoor skills they need to lead Scouts in the out-of-doors. Upon completion, leaders will feel comfortable teaching Scouts the basic skills required to obtain the First Class rank. To be considered fully trained as a Scoutmaster or Assistant Scoutmaster, leaders must complete Scoutmaster Specific Training and this course, Introduction to Outdoor Leader Skills.
