Greetings all Pomperaug District Cub Scouts and Parents! The Cub Scout Adventure Day is an opportunity for scouts to complete several adventures in one day, giving you one last opportunity to complete rank advancement before the end of the scouting year. This event will be held at Old Mine Park in Trumbull, CT on June 6th. Check-in for the event will begin at 9 AM and the Opening ceremony starting at 9:45 AM. The event will conclude at 3:30 PM.
Throughout the day scouts will complete 4-5 adventures depending on their rank. Adventures that will be completed include:

- King of the Jungle
- Tigers
- Tiger: Safe and Smart
- My Tiger Jungle
- Tigers in the Wild
- Games Tigers Play
- Tiger Tag

- Germs Alive
- Paw on the Path
- Running with the Pack
- Council Fire
- Call of the Wild
- Bear
- Fur, Feathers and Ferns
- Grin and bear it
- Paws in Action
- Bear Necessities
- Bear Claws
- Webelos/Arrow of Light
- First Responder
- Webelos Walkabout
- Build my own hero
- Castaway
- Outdoor Adventurer
In addition to earning adventures towards rank, Scouts will have the opportunity to participate in shooting sports and earn the Cub Scout Shooting Sports Award.
Participants will be split into dens based on rank and rotate to the different stations together throughout the day.
All scouts will need to be accompanied by an adult partner. All participants must abide by the following rules.
- All attendees will be required to wear a face mask during program events.
- Social distancing must be maintained whenever possible
- ANY ILLNESS during the event MUST be immediately reported to the event staff. The sick individual should be isolated and not brought to the first aid tent. The event first aid staff will decide the appropriate response to the illness.

There will be a break for Lunch. All drinks and snacks are the responsibility of the scout and their parents.
The cost of the event is $15 for scouts, adult partners are free of charge. All scouts will receive an event patch.
