The Pomperaug District will be holding it annual District Kickoff on June 11th at the Trumbull LDS church. This year we will be having a midway to share information on membership, popcorn, training, family scouting, and many more informative topics. Just like last year we will be having a dinner with hamburgers and hot dogs free of charge, but we do ask that you bring a side dish or dessert to share. We will also give out our annual spring time awards.
Also, an updated and expanded version of Cub Scout and Scouts BSA program planning guide will be released. This guide is designed to help your unit plan and execute every aspect of your units program. This will be first made available at the kickoff, so make sure that you come to get a head start in planning your upcoming scout year.
While the event is free of charge, we still need everyone to register so we can properly plan the food for the evening.
