The last 9 months have been rough on our little camp.  The tornado/micro-burst that devastated Sleeping Giant last May hit Wah Wah Taysee as well.  January brought the heavy ice storm that brought down some more limbs and trees.

We’ve been doing a lot of cutting and clearing but we sure could use some help getting things cleaned up enough to reopen camp.

Can you give us a hand?  We have two camp clean-up days scheduled.

Saturday, February 16 from 8 am to noon.

Our objective is to open the trails and campsites.  We’ll be clearing the remaining downed limbs and trees.  Please bring tools such saws, shears, cutters, etc.  Adults with chainsaws would be great.

Saturday, March 16th from 8 am to noon.

Our objective is to clear the remaining down-fall and stack wood for campfires and chipping.  We’ll also do some maintenance on the trail waterbars damaged over the winter.

If you and/or your unit would like to help with this project or help another time, please contact Ross M Lanius, Wah Wah Taysee, at 203.248.5851
