Greetings all Pomperaug District Webelos and Parents! The 2019 WOW will be at Camp Sequassen in New Hartford, CT. This event is designed to offer instruction to Webelos on many essential scout skills.
This year the event will be run under a new model. We will run this event integrated with our Scouts BSA Fall Camporee instead of as a stand alone event. This will give the Webelos the opportunity to more closely work with the Scouts BSA youth and more importantly give them the opportunities to learn from them. During this event Webelos will work the requirements for the Cast Iron Chef, First Responder, Webelos Walkabout and Into the Woods Adventures.
All meals and snacks are the responsibility of the Webelos and their parents. If you plan on camping out on Saturday night, you will also need to bring your own tent and sleeping gear. The guide to safe scouting will need to be follow, so adults can only share a tent with a youth that is a member of their family.
Registration and set up will begin at 8:30AM and the program will begin at 9:00AM on
Saturday, and will finish after breakfast on Sunday.
A Saturday night campfire is held in conjunction with the Scouts BSA units, so come with skits and songs.
Set your GPS for 791 West Hill Road in New Hartford, CT. Event will be on the South
