Introduction to Outdoor Leader Skills (IOLS)

This hands-on course provides adult leaders with the practical outdoor skills needed to lead Scouts BSA youth on their outdoor adventures.  Upon completion, leaders should feel comfortable teaching Scouts the basic skills required to obtain the First Class rank.  Along with Scoutmaster Specifics, this course is required of all direct contact leaders registered in Scout BSA Troops in order to be considered “trained”.

Check in and set up begins at 5 PM, Friday Oct. 8, with the course starting promptly at 7 PM.  It will end before dinner, Saturday, Oct. 9.
