Help Wanted – Join the Fun!
Scouting runs on volunteers — and we need your help to make these two big Cub Scout events a success:
Cub Scout Safari – Oct 4, Hoyt Scout Reservation, 9 AM to 4 PM
Hands-on activities, exciting challenges, Adventure Awards, and special rank programs for Lions through Arrow of Light. Adventure Awards:
- Lions (Kindergarten): Mountain Lion & Let’s Camp Lions
- Tigers (1st Grade): Tigers in the Wild & Let’s Camp
- Wolves (2nd Grade): Paws on the Path & Let’s Camp Wolf
- Bears (3rd Grade): Bear Habitat & Let’s Camp Bear
- Webelos (4th Grade): Webelos Walkabout & Let’s Camp
- Arrow of Light (5th Grade): Into the Woods & Outdoor Adventurer
Cub Scout University of Adventure – Nov 8, Easton Country Day School
A full day of fun where Scouts earn Adventures, enjoy special lunch entertainment, and meet friends from across the Council. Four colleges: Wolf, Bear, Webelos, and Arrow of Light. Four Colleges Offered:
- Wolf (2nd Grade) new college this year! Council Fire, Computing Wolf and Digging in the Past
- Bear (3rd Grade) Paws for Action, Marble Madness and Roaring Laughter
- Webelos (4th Grade) My Community, Art Explosion, and Earth Rocks
- Arrow of Light (5th Grade) First Aid, (or Estimation), Engineer and High Tech Outdoors
Who can volunteer?
- Cubmasters
- Den Leaders
- Parents
- Troop Leaders
- Older Scouts BSA.
We provide:
- Teaching aides for Adventure Awards
- Free admission for staff (and their child if attending)
- Lunch and a patch
It’s more fun than work — grab a friend and volunteer together!
