AOL/Webelos WOW Returns
A STEM Adventure Awaits!
May 16–17, 2026 • Hoyt Scout Reservation
Held in conjunction with the Scouts BSA Spring Camporee
The WOW is back! Formerly known as the Webelos Overnight Weekend, this popular overnight returns with a STEM twist. Bears moving up to Webelos, Webelos moving up to Arrow of Light, and Arrow of Light Scouts who have not yet crossed over are invited to take part in this exciting camping experience or make it a day event.
In celebration of America’s 250th Anniversary, Scouts will dive into hands-on science, technology, and artificial intelligence activities at Hoyt. Participants will form temporary patrols, work on advancement and America 250 awards, and enjoy classic outdoor fun like games and the Gaga Pit. Optional off-site experiences may include visits to the Danbury Railway Museum or New Pond Farm.
Lunch will be provided; dinner and breakfast will be prepared by campers. Takeout food options will also be available, and Scouts may coordinate camping and meals with participating troops.
Fees: $40 for one youth and one adult (includes patch, lunch, and program) — no siblings. Limited to 100 youth.
