The Connecticut Yankee Council owns and operates three camping facilities for use by Scouts and other organizations. Our flagship summer camp is Camp Sequassen, located in New Hartford, CT. Two other properties, Hoyt Scout Reservation in Redding, and Wah Wah Tay See in Hamden, are maintained for weekend use.

Camp Sequassen

Camp Sequassen is located in Northwest Connecticut, at the foot of the Berkshires in the town of New Hartford. The camp consists of 600 acres of forest with over 2500’ of shoreline on West Hill Pond, one of the most beautiful spring fed lakes in Connecticut.

The John Sherman Hoyt Scout Reservation is located on 170 acres of pristine forest and fields in West Redding, Connecticut.

Making A Reservation

 

For facilities at Camp Sequassen and Hoyt Scout Reservation – availability can be checked and reservations  made online at:  //archive.ctyankee.org/webpay/stermcamping/new  When making an online reservation, please be sure to choose a payment option.  You must choose either the online or offline payment option or your reservation will not be saved.

For reservations at Wah Wah Taysee, call the Ranger, Ross Lanius, directly at 203-248-5851.
