Introducing the America 250 CYC Scouting Awards
In celebration of America’s 250th Anniversary, the Connecticut Yankee Council Activities Committee is launching the America 250 Scouting Awards. This council-wide program invites Cub Scouts, Scouts BSA, Venturers, Sea Scouts, and adult leaders to explore America’s history and values through fun, age-appropriate activities focused on learning, service, adventure, and civic engagement.
Scouts may earn individual awards or complete all five to receive the George Washington Super Award. Adults who teach or lead the program are eligible for the Nathan Hale Leadership Award. This is designed for easy unit-level implementation, no council approval is required.
