Two separate hybrid sessions:  July 16 and Aug 6, 2025  Camp Sequassen

8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.   Meals provided in the English Dining Hall

Participants need select and attend one day only.

The Emergency Care and Safety Institute offers a Scouts America approved version of Wilderness First Aid that is done through a mixture of On Line Home Study, with videos and lectures, and Hands On In Person skills review.  Participants must complete the On line portion prior to attending the full day Hands On Course.  To complete the On Line portion, the participants must each separately purchase the course online (~$40.00), follow the course instructions, pass the final test, and come to the Hands On session with a printed copy of the completion certificate.

 

As an additional prerequisite, CPR certification is required.  Each participant must have a current AHA, ARC or ECSI basic adult CPR and AED card.

 

Cost for Hands on In Person session is $60.00 which includes lunch and dinner.

A minimum of 3 participants is required to run each session.  Maximum of 12 participants.
